Four BIXI bike stations in Centretown

The National Capital Commission has revealed the location of 10 Capital BIXI bike stations throughout the area, four of which are in Centretown.

The 10 stations will accommodate a total of 100 bikes and can be found at the following locations in Centretown: the intersection of Elgin and Queen streets; the intersection of Lyon and Queen streets; near the intersection of Booth Street and and Vimy Place; and the intersection of O’Connor and Queen streets. There are three other locations in Ottawa and three in Gatineau.

The program is run by Montreal’s Public Bike System Co. The company operates bike sharing systems on three continents. The program becomes operational in the National Capital Region on Wednesday.
