Window pane falls from condo complex

A window pane fell from the 10th storey of a condo building at Bank Street and Laurier Avenue West Thursday afternoon, shattering on the street below.

No serious injuries were reported.

A series of similar incidents in Toronto prompted the province to revise the building code. Construction companies will be required, starting July 1, to use heat-resistant glass – the same used for windshields – for balcony panes.
