The city’s transit commission Wednesday approved “Pimisi” – the Algonquin word for “eel” – as the new name for LeBreton Station along the light rail transit route.
The names of other Centretown stops were also approved – Lyon and Parliament/ Parlement.
The commission also signed off on the final artistic design of the trains – a red and white combo that will respect OC Transpo’s existing colour scheme.
