A new bubble tea shop, Chatime, recently opened in Chinatown, contributing to the rise of Asian eateries in the city. The growth not only satisfies a need for the city’s multicultural demographic, it also helps Ottawans learn about other cultures. Nara Sok, co-owner of Chatime and a Japanese restaurant in Ottawa, shares his thoughts on how small Asian food businesses contribute to multiculturalism.
