Cybersecurity firm Trend Micro donates $45,000 to immigrant services organization

Trend Micro, a Japanese multinational cybersecurity and defence company, recently donated $45,000 to the Ottawa Community Immigrant Services Organization.
The donation is part of Trend Mirco’s “Give and Match program,” which allows the company’s employees from all over the world to come together around a common initiative: charity.
Trend Micro created the program to encourage each of its regions to select a specific charity and raise funds for it. The company then matches the total amount of donations raised, and gifts it to the organization.
This year, the 170 employees at the Ottawa offices of Trend Micro Canada chose to raise funds for OCISO.
OCISO provides comprehensive settlement and integration services to nearly 10,000 immigrants and refugees every year.
