Food bank recovers from dismal autumn

After a dramatic drop in food-bank donations at Thanksgiving, Ottawa residents seem to be in a more giving mood this holiday season. In early October, donations to the bank plummeted 50 per cent compared to the previous year, the charity says. However, it has recouped its losses after a recent food drive, in collaboration with OC Transpo, in which 90,000 food was collected.
