Ottawa slam poets prepare for national competition

Ottawa is home to internationally recognized spoken-word poets, some of whom have been competing this week at the Canadian Festival of Spoken Word. Centretown News interviewed the Urban Legends, a collective that got its start at Carleton University in 2009, as they prepared to compete in Peterborough, Ont. The competition concludes on Oct. 28.
