Griffin Elliot is the Ottawa Editor at The Scene Magazine. He is currently completing a combined honours bachelor degree in journalism and Greek and Roman studies at Carleton University. His interests include black coffee, Lord of the Rings, and writing and playing music with friends. “I plan on experiencing the world, one tune at a time.”

Justine Pineau
Justine Pineau is a fourth-year journalism student at Carleton University.
In May 2014, Pineau worked as a programs assistant at the Kingston Seniors Association on an eight-week contract with their communications and marketing department.
After completing her degree in journalism, she hopes to pursue a master’s degree in publishing.

Peter Mazereeuw is a native of Newmarket, Ont. and has lived in Ottawa for the past five years. He has reported on international relations, lobbying and federal policy for Embassy News and The Lobby Monitor. His work has appeared in the Ottawa Citizen, National Post and Power and Influence magazine. Mazereeuw spends his spare time reading sports blogs and regretting his decision to cancel cable TV.

Emanuela Campanella is a multimedia reporter pursuing a masters of journalism at Carleton University. She likes to cover health, crime and policy stories. She’s worked for CBC Montreal and the Kingston Whig-Standard.
