Harrison Boyd

Harrison Boyd

Harrison Boyd is studying a Bachelors of Journalism with a Minor in Law at Carleton University. Looking to focus more on public relations and strategic communications, he will be pursuing a graduate program in Brand Management next year with hopes of one day acquiring an MBA. Outside of his studies, Harrison runs his own print and graphic design company: Chil Print & Design

Elizabeth Kosturik

Elizabeth is a fourth-year journalism student with minors in law and history at Carleton University in Ottawa. She has experience writing on city affairs, education, and provincial legislation. After finishing her undergrad, she looks forward to working in the communications field in Toronto.

Jordanna Tennebaum

Jordanna Tennebaum

Jordanna Tennebaum is a Master of Journalism student at Carleton University. Previously, Jordanna studied political science and religious studies at McGill University. Although currently focused on multimedia journalism, she has experience in the fields of philanthropy, publishing and public relations.

Kristine Walkden

Kristine Walkden

Kristine Walkden is a fourth year journalism student at Carleton University. Kristine has a passion for journalism, film and literature. In her third year of school, Kristine lived in Denmark where she studied international reporting and multimedia. She became extremely interested in travelling, European culture and international affairs, after reporting from Croatia on the PTSD in war veterans and backpacking throughout Europe. She is moving to Toronto to pursue a career in the media and has plans to travel to South America in the fall.

Oliver Sachgau

Oliver Sachgau originally hails from Munich, but has called Ottawa home for over a decade. He’s worked as a summer reporter at the Winnipeg Free Press for the past two years. Paige Mueller is a fourth-year journalism and English student at Carleton University. She was raised in small-town Alberta but made the move to the capital city four years ago. Chris O’Gorman

Chris O’Gorman

Chris is a fourth-year student at Carleton and has a passion for news and political journalism. He has worked at the Windsor Star, Postmedia News, the Kingston Whig Standard, and will be starting at the Sarnia Observer as a reporter in May. He is currently the news editor of The Charlatan. He likes traveling, sailing, and long afternoons relaxing on other peoples’ balconies. One day, he hopes to have an apartment filled with furniture he didn’t find on the side of the road.

Nichole Ekkert-Vine

Nichole Ekkert-Vine is a fourth-year, soon to be graduate of the Carleton Journalism program. She has a love for all things digital, be it online content, tablet, mobile or social media, and a passion for magazine. Born in Oshawa, Ontario, she loves to read, write, and tell the stories of others in new and innovative ways. Her plan after graduation is to stay in Ottawa and pursue her love for media, writing and editing.
