Jackie Gauthier is an animal rescuer who runs Jackie to the Rescue and is a co-founder of Speak Up For Paws.
She uses her social media platform to share the realities of stray and mistreated cats around Ottawa.
Rescuing cats and restoring their health has become a focus in her life despite the personal toll it takes on her.
