Midweek is back from fall break with a jam-packed show with hosts Ali Adwan and Darren Tran behind the mics.
Our talented and diligent reporting team got straight to work today while the production team began organizing scripts and the show lineup.
We were missing a few members of our team this week again due to internships but that did not stop the Midweek reporters from pulling together a fun and informative live show.
Olivia Grandy attended a cyclist protest outside of Ottawa City Hall last week to protest against Ontario Premier Doug Ford’s new provincial policy. One that would allow provincial control over how municipalities receive approval for bike infrastructure.
The Carleton Women’s Basketball dominated the Western Mustangs in their home opener on Oct. 25. David Cummings reported on that game.
With Halloween coming up, Midweek featured some spooky stories to embrace the festivities including haunted ghost tours, and a special trick or treat night hosted by the Ottawa Food Bank.
Same-day reporters went off on their own this week again and the whole team was back in the room with an hour to air time!
The entire team this week went above and beyond to fill the line-up and have scripts finished, by no later than 12:00 pm.. Each student demonstrated resilience and adaptability today.
