Over 3 billion birds have disappeared from Canadian skies over the past 40 years.
In Ottawa alone, roughly 250, 000 birds were found dead in 2024. It is now the time of year that birds are returning from their Southern migrations, less and less are making it home and surviving through the season.
This got journalist Nadia Nikpour-Badr wondering what our environment would look like without birds and how we can stop this decline.
