Ottawa’s drag scene is growing and Saltina Shaker is one of the city’s up and coming queens. Shaker, legally known as Jesse Leśniowski, is a full-time performer on stage and a disability advocate online.
Shaker has an invisible disability. She uses her platform to represent others who have them, especially in the 2SLGBTQ+ community.
After winning Ottawa’s Ms. Capital Pride pageant and hitting 1.5 million followers on Tik Tok, Leśniowski says there is much more coming from Saltina Shaker.
