COVID-19 shut one door but opened another
Dakota Odgers was a feisty winger in the Western Hockey League but when the Vancouver Giants cut the fan favourite he knew his time as a high-performance athlete was coming to an end. That was accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. With pandemic restrictions limiting his playtime with the Carleton Ravens, Dakota saw it as an opportunity for a life-changing procedure.
