With nearly two months of the school year finished, the Ottawa public and Catholic school boards’ new two-year pilot project to help expelled students still has no staff.
Rob mclennan wrote poems in a donut shop for six years. He woke every morning, walked over to the former Dunkin Donuts at Bank Street and Gloucester Street six days a week and worked on his writing for five hours at a time. He’s had his own office in his apartment since March, but says he never minded his makeshift office.
