The City of Ottawa has a mountain of snow to remove from the Bayview dump in the coming months.
The pile of dirty, garbage-filled snow seems to be going nowhere quickly after a near record-breaking snowfall, much to the neighbourhood's dismay. The city has promised to close the Bayview dump by December 2009 after complaints from residents about noise from dumptrucks and run-off from the pile.
