Most downtown churches wheelchair-friendly
Wheelchair accessibility is becoming a standard feature for church buildings in Centretown. A telephone survey conducted of 23 churches in the area by Centretown News found that 18 of the respondent 21 had wheelchair accessibility. Two could not be reached.

Bishop’s decision about same-sex blessing delayed
Ottawa Anglicans will have to wait a few more weeks for the bishop’s decision to bless same-sex couples. At this year’s synod - an annual Anglican diocesan meeting - Bishop John Chapman announced he would make his decision after consulting the House of Bishops in Canada.
