The 2010 Winterlude festival in Ottawa included a new addition from a local crafting group. Spins & Needles started the Urban Cozy Project in collaboration with the National Capital Commission, asking crafters from around the world to knit and donate coverings – called cozies – which were then wrapped around trees, lampposts, and benches on Winterlude grounds.
