Young artists are replacing unsightly graffiti with colour and whimsy
Work is underway on murals adorning the pillars in front of the Centretown Community Health Centre.
The project is part of the city-wide Paint It Up program that pairs at-risk youth with local artists to beautify communities and discourage graffiti. The mural's design is a collaboration of the young artist volunteers and their mentor artists.
The health centre's theme is a combination of the four seasons and the four elements: earth, wind, rain and fire.
