Although not one of Ottawa’s biggest or busiest streets, Cooper Street still has a lot to offer.

Between two busy streets on the west side of Centretown sits a small but notable road – Daniel McCann Street -- with an interesting historical link.

Red brick houses line almost all of Delaware Avenue in Centretown’s so-called Golden Triangle.

It would appear that when the streets of Centretown were being named, the Earl of Derby drew the short straw.
