Sitting comfortably in a quaint residential area, the rectangular brick building faces Percy Street, a quiet one-way, instead of looking towards the bustling traffic on Bronson and Gladstone avenues.

Minto Park

Situated on the east side of Centretown, Minto Park is a picturesque urban park that occupies the full city block between Elgin Street, Cartier Street, Lewis Street and Gilmour Street. It was bought by the city in 1898 from J.R. Booth and was originally named Minto Square after the newly arrived Governor-General Lord Minto.

McNabb Park

McNabb Park, located at the corner of Bronson and Gladstone avenues, is the largest green space in Ottawa’s downtown core. The park backs onto the McNabb Community Centre, which was established in the 1970s. Both sites are popular destinations for local residents.
