Several Canadian art works have been booted into the storage bin to collect dust.
Public art – there’s a lot of it in Centretown: the giant teapot at Minto Place, a bear eating a fish on Sparks Street, and abstract figures outside the condo at Metcalfe and McLeod streets.
Protests can be inspirational. They are also pointless if people don’t take action on a smaller scale, making more responsible decisions on a daily basis.
