Richcraft Homes has submitted plans to the city for a three-tower condo complex in Little Italy.
Two of the high-rises are slated to reach 48 storeys, which would make them the tallest buildings in Ottawa, while the third tower is to reach 18 storeys.
According to a city application summary dated May 8, Richcraft wants to add 1,123 residential units to the 845 Carling Ave. site, along with business, retail, and open space.
All three structures are planned to be situated on a two-storey podium, with seven “live-work” units on the west side facing the O-Train corridor.
Six levels of underground parking have been proposed as well.
In April, Claridge Homes received city council's approval to construct a 45-storey condo at the northeast corner of Carling Avenue and Preston Street.
