Ottawa Police have laid charges against Nabil Benhsaien in three previously unsolved attacks on women, including two in Centretown, CBC Ottawa reports.
The attacks occurred in Centretown and Hintonburg between December 2010 and January 2011. Each time, a woman was hit on the head by an unknown attacker, and the attacker escaped by running in the opposite direction, CBC Ottawa reports.
The attacks in Centretown took place on Dec. 11, 2010 near Albert Street and City Centre Avenue and on Jan. 4, 2011 near Gilmour and Bay streets.
Benhsaien was arrested and charged last October after a similar fourth attack on Bayview Road.
Benhsaien now faces 18 additional charges in the three previous cases, including attempted murder and aggravated assault with a weapon, CBC Ottawa reports.
