Police seek suspect in robbery on Gladstone

Ottawa Police are looking for a suspect in connection with a recent robbery on Gladstone Avenue.

The robbery took place on Jan. 10 when a man entered a pharmacy along the 700 block of Gladstone Avenue and demanded cash from an employee. 

In a press release police describe the suspect as a Caucasian male, standing 5-8 tall with a stocky build. He has light brown hair and some facial hair, and appeared unkempt.

At the time of the robbery he was described as wearing a blue winter jacket with a black line on the shoulders and arms and a black hooded sweatshirt, according to the police press release.

The suspect threatened to have a weapon, but the weapon was never seen.  There were no injuries reported in the robbery.

The suspect was last seen running northbound on Arthur Street, according to the press release.
