Beginning Monday, construction will resume at Elgin and Isabella streets to facilitate the replacement of a combined sewer.
Each day after morning peak hours, the right northbound lane of Elgin Street will be closed intermittently, according to a City of Ottawa media release.
Constriction is expected to last about two months.
Pedestrian access to the east sidewalk of Elgin Street may also be impacted by the construction, but signage will be posted when necessary, according to the city.
The construction is part of a $2.6 million project called the Street Combined Sewer Replacement Project that aims to improve water and sewer services, according to the media release.
The City of Ottawa reminds motorists to slow down when approaching the construction zone.
