More than 2,400 Somerset Ward residents cast their ballots during the city’s advanced polling days, according to official numbers from the City of Ottawa.
Around 9.5 per cent of eligible voters in Somerset Ward participated in advanced voting for the upcoming election, giving it the fourth-highest turnout rate in the city, according to the Ottawa Citizen.
Advanced polls were open on Oct. 1-3, Oct. 9 and Oct. 18.
Overall, 46,971 people voted during the five advanced polling days.
Election Day is on Oct. 27.
