"Ashes: A City Shaped by Fire" tells the history of Ottawa's fires through artifacts, films and pictures. The City of Ottawa Archives is hosting an exhibit on how massive, neighbourhood-wide conflagrations – such as the Great Fire of 1900 that tore across LeBreton Flats and other parts of downtown Ottawa – have shaped the city’s history and development.
