A writers’ group in Centretown is now accepting entries for its popular annual short-story contest.
A summit aimed at linking the protection of the Ottawa River with the tools and strategies of high-tech activism is scheduled to take place in Gatineau this May, fuelling hopes for a new era of co-operation between Quebec and Ontario over the boundary waterway.
One of Ottawa’s most celebrated musicians, Bruce Cockburn, will be among the headliners at the TD Ottawa Jazz Festival, which will take place between June 18 and July 1 this summer.
For the first time, this year’s version of the Magnetic North Theatre Festival will host two outdoor “pay-what-you-can” shows.
