Books and library days are a part of every elementary school student's week. Reading may be the most important tool for literacy. But students can't get the most out of their library when the books are old and falling apart. The 25th hour went to Centennial Public School where a local librarian is trying to preserve what's left.

Although Syria may be half a world away, Canadians right here in Ottawa are getting involved in bringing aid to thousands of refugees.
