Kemal Kirisci, a professor of political science at Bogazici University, Turkey, will give a public lecture on “Immigration Issues in EU-Turkish Relations: Harmonization or Externalization?” from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. In the Senate Room, 608 Robertson Hall, Carleton University. The Glebe Centre, 950 Bank St., is seeking mature volunteers to operate its gift shop and commit one day a week (Monday, Wednesday or Friday) between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. Volunteer positions are also available on an on-call/casual basis. The centre is also seeking volunteers to greet and welcome residents, families and visitors as a main reception hostess. This includes some clerical duties.
