Centretown residents may or may not have felt it, but Ottawa and parts of western Quebec experienced a minor earthquake Wednesday.
The 4.3 magnitude tremor struck around 1:30 p. m.
The epicentre was in Hawkesbury, Ont., about 100 kilometres east of Ottawa, reported Earthquakes Canada.
Residents from Ottawa to the Montreal region reported feeling the quake.
Last summer, residents experienced a 5.0-magnitude earthquake. The centre was located 54 kilometres northeast of Ottawa, in Val-des-Bois, Que.
