An Ottawa woman is in hospital with traumatic head injuries after being hit by an SUV on O’Connor Street Monday morning, Ottawa police said.
The 33-year-old pedestrian was hit at approximately 9 a.m. near the intersection of O’Connor and Gloucester streets, said Carol Ryan, a police media relations officer.
Ottawa police closed down the intersection for a short period of time to investigate the incident but no charges were laid.
The Ottawa woman remains in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
