A report released Tuesday has revealed that the City of Ottawa will make no profit off the huge update and expansion at Lansdowne Park.
The finances of the development are contained in the first Lansdowne Partnership Plan annual report, to be released fully to City Council next week.
The report will reveal how the venture, a partnership between the city and the Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group, has done in its first year. The Lansdowne Park opened partially in July of 2014.
The negation of the City’s expected $22.6 million profit is attributed in part to an unexpected repair to the roof of the TD Place arena.
