New art project unveiled on Preston Street
The Preston Street reconstruction project drew to a close last week with the ceremonial unveiling of Ottawa’s newest public art project called Postcards from the Piazza. 
Lasia Kretzel, Centretown News Cj fleury, Melissa Ramsden, Coun. Diane Holmes and Mariel Giannetti unveil one of 15 bronze, steel and granite sculptures along Preston Street.
Dominican Gardens talks may conclude in November
The fate of the Dominican Gardens continues to rest on ongoing negotiations between the owners of the garden and the city, which had started in 2008 after its owners put the land up for sale. However, negotiations may come to an end in November.
