Housing advocates have unveiled what they say is a no-cost solution to Ottawa’s low-income housing crisis, but some Centretown residents remain sceptical.
Somerset Ward will be receiving a portion of the city’s infrastructure stimulus fund to finance the lighting of the Chinatown arch and could receive more if the federal and provincial governments approve an extension on the fund.
An Ottawa resident protested a recently passed motion to paint a bike lane on Lyon Street at a Centretown Citizens Community Association (CCCA) meeting held Tuesday evening.
