City seeks feedback on e-cigarette use

The city is proposing expanding the city's bylaws to regulate the use of electronic cigarettes.
Ottawa Public Health is reaching out to residents and stakeholders for feedback on limiting the use of e-cigarettes and non-tobacco combustible substances in public places in hopes of protecting others from second-hand smoke.

Museum beefs up security at Nature Nocturne events

The Canadian Museum of Nature will implement stricter security measures at its popular Nature Nocturne event on Jan. 29, a response to concerns about illicit boozing among the huge crowds being drawn to the nightclub-style gatherings at the Centretown natural history venue.
