Picture a competitive improv team from a local high school, standing in front of an audience at the National Arts Centre. The members have been asked to perform a scene, using the suggestion “Republic of Zombia.” They have 15 seconds to plan it.

‘Superfan’ brings world of arts and sports together

You’re not likely to see an artist painting a soccer game, or a bunch of sweaty hockey players going to an art opening, but a new collaboration between art collective Artengine and a few Elgin Street pubs is hoping to bridge the gap between arts and sports crowds.
