The Canadian War Museum has painstakingly restored a 95-year-old curtain that once graced the stage of an Alberta town's performance hall. After 55 years of storage, a historically significant and newly restored theatre curtain has returned to its home of Penhold, Alta., thanks to the efforts of a citizen from the prairie and the Canadian War Museum.

Nature museum brings bug models to life
Visitors will surely go bug-eyed over a new exhibit at the Canadian Museum of Nature. Bugs: Outside of the Box features larger-than-life models of beetles, dragonflies, butterflies, grasshoppers, and more crafted by Italian sculptor Lorenzo Possenti to show that insects are really more than what meets the naked eye.
