I can vividly remember being in grade four and walking home from Elgin Street Public School, past a gymnasium full of happy kids.  I always wondered why I was never invited to play with this elite group. 

There is nothing more comforting after a long day than coming home.

Once a year, there is a day that all young people in our city anticipate with uncontrollable exhilaration.

"How will you continue Constable Nathan Hoedeman's legacy?" a reporter asked me at Nathan's farewell party.  "I don't know if there's anyone that can continue that legacy", I replied.
