Austria’s celebrated moderntimes_1800 will perform for the first time in Ottawa at 8 p.m. in St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, 82 Kent St., as part of the Ottawa Chamber Music Society’s 2007-08 concert series. Entitled Bach and beyond . . . the program includes concertos by Bach performed on Baroque instruments and Schnittke’s piano quinted performed on modern instruments. Admission is $30 for adults and $15 for students.
Action group wants city to stop buying bottled water
A local advocacy group is urging the City of Ottawa to stop supporting the bottled water industry and to encourage the use of municipal tap water.
