The Ottawa Human Society’s annual “Pet Pics with Santa” continues at selected shopping centre until Dec. Bring your furry friend to a participating location and receive a 4×6 digital photo in a holiday frame. Photos are $10 each and all proceeds will benefit animals in need. New smoking ban may be difficult to enforce

Street youth ‘make downtown underpass unsafe’
An Ottawa city councillor wants fences built in the Colonel By underpass, near the Rideau Centre, to discourage street youth from hanging out and in turn make the area safer.
