Frog exhibit highlights declining population
The Canadian Museum of Nature’s new frog exhibit stars exotic species from all over the world, but the ecological threats the show highlights are also being faced by Ottawa-area frogs at a time when conservationists are concerned about amphibian populations around the world.

Documentaries record river quality
A pilot project raising awareness about the Ottawa River’s water quality culminated this month in the filming of three mini-documentaries about the importance of maintaining the river.

Hope for Elgin concert hall evaporates as city leases space
