Even though Danny Schwartz’s accidental entry into field lacrosse isn’t typical, he is still part of a growing interest in the game that has the Ottawa Lacrosse Club planning a skill development camp this spring and a new house league in the fall.
With the first signs of spring come the cracks of bats, the smack of balls in gloves and the cheers of proud parents watching their kids run the bases in Ottawa’s oldest Little League.

The compound is protected 24 hours a day by armed guards. Vans take workers from behind the tall gate, where their day ends, and out into the streets where their day begins.
