For most people, the beautiful ocean vistas of Nova Scotia are best seen from the passenger seat of the family car with the wind blowing through their hair. This isn’t the case for local gym owner Tracy Beardsley.
Even though Danny Schwartz’s accidental entry into field lacrosse isn’t typical, he is still part of a growing interest in the game that has the Ottawa Lacrosse Club planning a skill development camp this spring and a new house league in the fall.
With the first signs of spring come the cracks of bats, the smack of balls in gloves and the cheers of proud parents watching their kids run the bases in Ottawa’s oldest Little League.
