Residents of Somerset Street West say they are tired of being awakened by the noise of construction equipment, sometimes before 7 a.m., in violation of the city’s noise bylaws.

For the first time in years, the position of Centretown school board trustee is being contested.

Stay-at-home mother Ann Flindall enjoys living downtown with her husband and her two daughters under the age of five. They have applied for co-op housing, but two years later, they are still on the waiting list.

Ottawa Centre MP Paul Dewar says that housing will be high on his list of many priorities during the current session of Parliament.
