Scientists warn of river pollution after fireworks

Firework displays have become a huge attraction in downtown Ottawa over the past 20 years. And with 1,500 shells going off each show, Ottawa Riverkeeper says it is important that proper measures are taken to clean up the byproducts of these fireworks.

Ottawa tour lives to haunt again

Local tourist attraction the Haunted Walk of Ottawa has earned a stay of execution after it appeared as though its tours of Ottawa’s 19th-century jail would be barred by the Nicholas Street youth hostel.
