The saga of the World Exchange Plaza’s threatened theatre has entered a new chapter as City of Ottawa officials have begun negotiating with the building’s owners to clarify their responsibility for providing an entertainment venue within the downtown commercial property.
A few campaigns encouraging people to shop locally have popped up in Ottawa over the last month, including the November “Support Local” campaign by Apartment613. Businesses in the city have also been offering a number of incentives to keep shoppers in Ottawa this holiday season.
Police say they are still looking for suspects in a string of at least 13 break and enters at the homes of Asian-style restaurant owners and employees across the city.

After a successful pilot year, the International Certificate Program is expanding to high schools all over Ottawa, teaching students to embrace a global perspective on the world.
