Chiarelli under integrity investigation
Ottawa councillor Rick Chiarelli is under investigation for a number of “sketchy experiences” according to the Ottawa Citizen. Mayor Jim Watson is asking for others to come forward if they’ve had an experience with Chiarelli, and is calling on Chiarelli to quit.
Not enough Canadians have a family doctor
According to a study done by the Canadian Institute of Health Information, the number of doctors is increasing at double the rate of the Canadian population. Still, CTV News found that nearly 4.8 million Canadians said they did not have a family doctor.

Ukraine scandal ups the pressure on Trump
A declassified statement from a whistle blower in the Trump impeachment has surfaced stating that Donald Trump had direct contact with the Ukraine president, Vlodymyr Zelensky, urging the Ukraine president to dig up information against opponent Joe Biden. “The President abused his office for personal gain,” according to this article from The National.
