‘Nightmare’ on Kent Street
I read Coun. Elisabeth Arnold’s letter in the Feb. 23 issue of Centretown News.
I live on Florence Street between Kent and Lyon, so I experienced the nonsense of both traffic calming attempts. No matter what the good intentions were, Kent Street is a nightmare.
Every day, I am cut off or end up blasting my horn, and cutting somebody else off. I am amazed that there haven’t been any serious accidents.
After spending a million dollars will there be any improvement? I doubt it. After living in the area for the past six years, I don’t know what the fuss was about in the first place.
