The Bell Street United Church will hold a flea market from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 384 Arlington Ave.
Oct. 19
The Ottawa Hospital and the University of Ottawa will be hosting a free public forum on men’s health from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the amphitheatre of the Civic Campus located on Carling Avenue. There will be presentations by six urologists, who will discuss such current topics as prostate cancer, erectile dysfunction and kidney stones.

The Greenspace Alliance of Canada’s Capital will hold its annual general meeting at 7:30 pm, in the Billings Room of Ottawa City Hall. Guest Speaker will be Meredith Brown, the Ottawa Riverkeeper. The meeting will include the election of new directors and officers for 2005-2006 and presentation.. As well, there will be reports of our activities in the past year and an outline of possible future activities. This year has been a very busy one for the Greenspace Alliance and the next one looks even busier. We need more volunteers as directors and committee members and we welcome your participation.
